Officials meet in Columbus to discuss technology with body camera footage

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A panel discussion in downtown Columbus on Sunday morning brought together officials from around the country to talk about the advent of technology surrounding body camera footage.

Mayors from California and Florida as well as law enforcement officials from Texas met to urge Columbus city officials body camera footage as well as AI technology through the company Truleo, which automatically detects certain police procedures such as frisks and use of force, and screens for unprofessional conduct during such instances.
