Truleo analyzes spoken language in every interaction captured via body-worn cameras to score officer professionalism. By isolating and analyzing only officer language/speech, Truleo can train and coach officers on professional communication while protecting civilian privacy.
How it Works
1. Truleo pulls video from evidence management systems through secure connections provided by manufacturers.
2. Truleo discards the video from the footage and only analyzes audio. Truleo’s bias-free models (link this text) transcribe only relevant speech, reducing bias by ignoring subjective metrics like tone.
3. In the transcription process, Truleo protects civilian privacy (link this to link #1 below ) by 1) anonymizing all speakers besides the voice-fingerprinted officer; 2) allowing departments to immediately discard the speech of all other speakers; and 3) automatically redacting all personal identifiable information.
4. Truleo’s natural language processing identifies professional and unprofessional language, along with events like use of force. The software uses these metrics to score highly professional and risky interactions.
5. Truleo’s user-friendly interface enables command staff to search for and visualize trends in professionalism and identify areas to support patrol officers in the field.
